SOMETIMES A STORY HAS TO BE TOLD

This is a story about Morris, an exceptional cat.  A week or so after we took in Morris, T.J. arrived. He was blind but had so much life and was such a happy cat I knew I could not possibly let anything happen to him. I put T.J. in the kitchen with morris, just to see if they would get along. As soon as I set him down, Morris seemed to notice immediately that he was blind, he did not hiss at all. Instead, he moved up beside him and walked him around the kitchen; becoming his "seeing eye" cat. Morris never leaves T.J's side now.
Morris has become the resident welcoming committee. it doesn't matter what kind of animal he meets. Morris will make them feel better and has a calming effect on them. One day someone brought in a small goat for surrender and she was so afraid of everything in the new, strange surroundings. Within a few days, Morris and the goat were sitting in the window ledge together.
On another occasion, someone surrendered a little dog who was a litttle biter. After a few days of "Morris Therapy", the little dog calmed down, stopped her biting and was adopted by some very nice people..another happy ending.
The stories could go on and on. If you have a little time, come by the shelter and meet Morris. he's very busy with all his friends but will always take the time to offer a welcoming paw to a vistor. He is truly one of a kind.

A HAPPY ENDING FOR MORRIS AND T.J.!! THEY HAVE BOTH BEEN ADOPTED BY THE SAME FAMILY....
